The first-ever Colorado Carbon Fundraiser was an event celebrating the partnership between level, The Mischief Collective, and Waste farmers, who came together to raise more than $6,000 for Natural Capitalism Solutions, a local Colorado non-profit working to change the way we tackle climate change.

The event took place at Battery 621's indoor event space. The event was moved inside after an unfortunate weather scenario forced us to abandon our rooftop plans. Fortunately, the event was still a smashing success, and fun was had by all 300 attendees. Local Americana band Coal Town Reunion kicked off the night as guests filed in and purchased their raffle tickets.

Guests were treated to complimentary craft beers from Avery Brewing, a funky photobooth powered by local merchant Tulu + Blue, and the opportunity to win dozens of prizes in our raffle including: Icelantic Skis, a night's stay at the Adventure Lodge Boulder or Ameristar Casino Resort in Blackhawk, framed posters, jewelry, and more.

In between sets, TIME Magazine's Hero of the Planet, and founder of Natural Capitalism Solutions, Hunter Lovins, delivered a powerful and moving address to our audience about the importance of carbon offsetting and other sustainable practices for both businesses and individuals. Our audience also got the chance to hear from B-Corp, Waste Farmers, Mischief Collective, and level, about crucial aspects of environmental change-making on a local scale. Anders Beck and Travis Book rounded out the evening with a full set of tunes that their fans almost never get to hear -- a rare treat, and the absolute best way to round out the sold-out event!
